Our story and purpose
Originally founded in 1885 as the Bank Officers Association to “promote better acquaintance and friendly relations” among bankers and financial services employees within 15 miles of Boston.
Today, we’re an active social organization with over 700 members representing the banking, financial, and insurance industries. Our events provide an opportunity for members to network in a friendly, fun, and relaxed environment. Members receive discounted rates to music and theater shows, sporting events, family activities, casino and day trips, harbor cruises, and much more!
We also give back to the community through charitable contributions and partnerships with local non-profit organizations.
